Troubleshooting runs

Most questions about a job’s result come down to a handful of typical situations.

This marks a run where some targets were left deferred or unsuccessful. It is not a failure: the status honestly says not everything could be closed, and the breakdown by reason is in the results.

Telegram asked it to wait. The thread pauses instead of pushing the account further.

In inviting there are two responses: wait and continue, or stop that account for the current job. The other accounts keep working, and the stopped account’s unfinished targets are handed to another free one — they are not lost.

An “extra pause” adds your own minutes to the delay Telegram named.

Reasons differ by module but fall into three groups.

On the target’s side. The user has no active stories; comments are closed in the channel; reactions are disabled for everyone; the person forbids being added to groups in their privacy settings.

On the account’s side. The daily limit is exhausted; the account is waiting out a pause; the account was stopped in this job; the account is not in the chat and joining is turned off.

On the dataset’s side. The target appeared twice — no repeat action is sent.

The exact reason for each target is visible in the run results.

Nothing sent, no errors. Typical causes:

  • No new posts appeared in the sources during the observation window — AI commenting only works with fresh posts.
  • The keyword filter removed every post.
  • Targets were chosen where the action is forbidden for everyone.
  • The observation window is shorter than the rate at which new targets appear.

In inviting the permission check runs on every selected account. Until at least one is confirmed, launch is blocked — so the job never starts on accounts whose rights are unknown. The hint under the button names what is missing.

Inviting has two limits: the total for the job and the maximum per account. Whichever runs out first applies, so the actual volume equals the smaller of the two: the total limit, and “maximum per account × number of accounts”. The gap is visible in the thread distribution block before the start.
