Responsible use
The panel’s modules work with other people’s accounts, other people’s channels and personal data. Below are the boundaries worth settling before a launch rather than after the first complaint.
Recipient consent
Section titled “Recipient consent”Messaging, inviting and work in direct messages affect specific people.
- Write to those who expect to hear from you: customers, subscribers, members of your community.
- Presence in a collected dataset is not consent to receive messages.
- Leave a clear way to opt out of further messages, and honour it.
- Data-protection and marketing law applies regardless of what the panel can technically do.
Platform rules
Section titled “Platform rules”Telegram’s rules take precedence over any panel setting. Bulk actions can lead to an account being restricted — that is the platform’s decision, not the panel’s.
Other people’s venues
Section titled “Other people’s venues”- Commenting and taking part in chats are acceptable where the venue owner does not object to such activity.
- Open comments do not mean consent to automated replies.
- The rules of the specific community take precedence over your settings.
Reports
Section titled “Reports”The report log is meant for submissions about genuine violations. Mass reports against legitimate resources are abuse that harms the sender’s own accounts first.
Responsibility
Section titled “Responsibility”Responsibility for which modules are running, against which dataset and with what content lies with the operator. An instruction to a language model does not remove that: text sent from your account remains your text.
